Bute Technologies Ltd was established as a Scottish Company to act as gatekeepers in the introduction of outstanding technologies to appropriate businesses and / or individuals throughout Scotland and the rest of the world.
Our niche speciality is linking people, businesses and projects together where perhaps others may not spot the potential or what may be possible. "Joining dots . . . and people!"
We are both proud and excited to be involved in the introduction of what, we believe, will be a world leading waste to energy initiative, utilising "micro plants" on a hitherto unprecedented small scale.
The small footprint of each plant ironically creates an enormous USP in the roll-out across a very wide range of applications. (Hospitals, Airports, Universities, Residential Developments, Shopping Malls, Holiday Villages, Wholesale Distributors and Retirement Villages to name but a few)

Who We Are
David Davidson
David brings the wealth of his over 36 year experience in the construction industry to the Board.
A lapsed member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, in that time he has been involved in the entire spectrum of construction activity, from the provision of specialist consultancy services, acting in a main contractor capacity and then progressing to land acquisition and the funding and management of his own development projects. David has attended the prestigious Leadership Trust Centre and has also trained with Anderson Consulting in the field of Business Process Re-engineering.
David has held senior positions with contracting companies ranging from small enterprises to PLC’s where he served, at board level, as a Chief Quantity Surveyor.
During the “crash” David found ways to commercially organise and leverage his pension funds to “work round” the inability (or unwillingness) of the Banks to provide funding. Therein was born a second career in the world of finance.
David has now worked in the fields of Pension Transfers, Mis-Sold SIPP recovery and ISA transfers, working with products compliant with Section 21 of the Financial Services and Markets act 2000. David also has experience in the setting up of both SICAV and Hedge Fund offshore structures.
These dual qualifications and background gives David an almost unique perspective and understanding of how deals may be brokered and/or structured and positions him to make a significant contribution to the Board.
David enjoys keeping up an age appropriate level of fitness, enjoying walking, football and swimming (particularly in azure waters!)
Graham Sinclair
Graham brings his vast industry experience to the board, having been a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since the mid seventies.
Graham has worked as a Partner and Senior Partner in various prestigious and reputable Companies throughout Scotland prior to establishing his own practice, Graham Sinclair Associates, over 25 years ago.
Graham's highly respected practice has provided a range of services including Quantity Surveying, Principal Designer, Project Monitor, and Employer's Agent to a wide variety of Clients.
His practice has been involved in a wide spectrum of developments including private housing, hospital boards, banks, offices, hotels, churches/church properties, university residences, the leisure sector as well as various Local Authorities. These projects have covered Scotland and the Midlands.
Graham was also a Director of a Company that successfully undertook a one-off retirement village in the Moray Firth area of Scotland.
Graham enjoys golfing, walking and travelling in his spare time.
David Morton
David is our retained legal consultant. He has been a transactional finance lawyer for over 30 years, with national and international law firms, providing lenders and borrowers with commercial, practical advice on all aspects of financing transactions.
He is presently a founding partner of the Scottish Practice of Spencer West, a London based, rapidly growing law firm with over 150 partners in the UK and around the globe.
In addition to his legal practice and advising the board, David is also a Director of a laser manufacturing company.
Away from the office, David enjoys walking (the dog), running, cycling, football and spending time on and around the water on Scotland's West Coast.
Graeme Shevas
Graeme brings over 30 years of experience in finance and business to the table in his Financial Director position.
A Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) since 1992, he has been involved in many SME businesses from transport, manufacturing, distribution & wholesale to a senior role at an electrical machine manufacturer after a Rolls Royce spin off.
Graeme has experience at board level and in operating finance functions, always with a commercial mind to spot opportunities and improve efficiencies.
After becoming Finance Director of an established Edinburgh coffee company in 1997, he started his own successful business in 2000 which he later sold in 2018. As a distributor of household name international brands Graeme has experience in brand positioning, business model generation and excels in customer service.
Since the sale of his business Graeme has been involved in business consulting and operational finance functions to improve information collection and flow. More recently he has been successful in entering the world of commercial finance with his own brokerage focussed on cashflow, business and development finance.
With an eagerness to learn, he completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) whilst running his own business and continues to read widely in the world of finance and business.
Graeme enjoys hill walking (Munro's more specifically), playing golf and has more recently taken up sailing yachts to become suitably qualified before inflicting his Day Skipper skills on the worldwide yachting community
